“I like how we interact with each other. Discussions always take place on an equal footing and ideas are always implemented first and then evaluated. After the initial implementation results have emerged, the idea is re-evaluated in discussions and a joint decision is made on whether or not its implementation still makes sense. This hands-on mindset is what makes my employer stand out. A high level of creative freedom and cooperation among colleagues are an integral part of the company.”

Your onboarding

Before you start

You and Skaylink have decided to take this journey together – welcome to our company!

Before you start, your hardware will be conveniently sent to your home. If your first day of work will take place at one of our offices, your package will be waiting there for you. In this case, we will plan your arrival so that we can greet you in person and bring you and the others that are just starting on board step-by-step. Until then, your Talent Acquisition Manager and our People Service Operations Specialist will be available to answer any questions you may have.

Your first day

Let’s get started – arriving and feeling comfortable!

Your first day at work will be all about arriving and getting started. To make sure this goes smoothly, your starter package will contain all the relevant information. Of course, our IT Support department will help you get your equipment set up. Our hybrid lunch is the perfect way to make initial contacts. Over the course of the day, a member of our Management Board will welcome you and you will gain additional organizational insights.

Your onboarding event

An interesting and informative event awaits you on site – let’s connect!

We hold our interactive on-site onboarding event every three months. The day before, you will have a relaxing journey to one of our locations. During breakfast, lunch, and pizza dinner together, there will be plenty of time to network and exchange ideas with new colleagues and experienced Skaylink employees. An interesting workshop about our guiding principles, socializing opportunities, and an informative fireside session also await you. We end the evening with a relaxed after-work drink.

Your first few days with us

We look forward to welcoming you and will give it our all – enjoy a carefree start!

Finally it’s all really starting, your team awaits you and you will get to know each other better. You will familiarize yourself with your department and experience Skaylink first-hand. There is no standard roadmap for a successful start. That’s why we find out what fits you best. Either you will get started quickly with a project or you will initially focus on further training and certifications – a combination of both is also possible. Skaylink is “your place to be!” You will enrich your team with your expertise, which will be confirmed in regular feedback discussions with your manager during your trial period.

Do you have a question? We are happy to help you.

  • How do I apply for an open position?

Simply click the Apply now button, upload your CV/resume, and fill out the application form. Alternatively, you can also apply directly via LinkedIn. Please do not send an application via email.

  • Are unsolicited applications possible?

Of course! Simply send your unsolicited application via our contact form. We will check internally whether your profile matches an opportunity and will be in touch.

  • I do not speak German. Can I still apply?

For most of our job profiles, we need a sound knowledge of German. However, there are positions and teams – especially in the field of Managed Services – where English is the primary working language.

  • When is my application complete?

In all cases, we need your CV/resume. If you are applying for a trainee position, we also need a cover letter. We also look forward to receiving the relevant transcripts and certificates.

  • How can I prepare myself for an interview with Skaylink?

First, find out more about us as a company via our website and LinkedIn. We also want to get to know you as a person and look forward to hearing about your career to date, including real-world examples.
