Before you start, your hardware will be conveniently sent to your home. If your first day of work is at one of our offices, your package will be waiting for you there. In this case, we will plan your arrival to welcome you personally and bring you on board step by step together. Your Talent Acquisition Manager will be available to answer any questions you may have.

Your first day at work is all about arriving and getting started! To make sure everything runs smoothly, your starter pack contains all the relevant information. Our IT support will of course help you set up your equipment. After the IT setup, the Talent Acquisition team will give you a warm welcome. Our remote lunch is the perfect opportunity to make initial contacts. During the day, your lead will welcome you and discuss all the details for your onboarding.

Our interactive onsite onboarding event takes place every three months in Hamburg. Over breakfast and a pizza lunch, you'll have plenty of time to network with new colleagues and experienced Skaylinks. You can also look forward to an exciting workshop on our Guiding Principles, socializing formats and informative Skaylink Deep Dive sessions. We will end the evening with a relaxed after-work drink.

It's finally time to get started, your team is waiting for you and you'll get to know each other better. You will familiarize yourself with your department and experience Skaylink first-hand. There is no one-size-fits-all plan for a successful start. That's why we look individually at what suits you. You can either start with a project as soon as possible or concentrate on further training and certifications first - a mixture of both is also possible. Skaylink is “Your place to be” and you will enrich your team with your expertise, which is confirmed by regular feedback meetings with your manager during your probationary period.
